Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China, you will be met at the airport (Beijing Capital International Airport) by tour guide and transferred to your comfortable hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Beijing

Depart from your hotel in the morning to visit Tiananmen Square (40min) – the World’s largest urban square, and the Forbidden City (2.5 – 3 hours) – the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Then visit the Temple of Heaven (1 hour) in the afternoon. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Optional Night Activities: Peking Opera 1.5 hours (daily 19:30)


Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, a visit to the Summer Palace (about 1.5 hour ) – the existing largest, best-preserved imperial garden in China. Then start to drive to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall (2 hours) – the section of the Great Wall which is more popular among foreign visitors. Have the lunch near the Mutianyu Great Wall, and then drive back to the downtown and have a short visit to see the exterior Bird Nest and Water Cube (about 1 hour) – the amazing architectures that built for Beijing Olympic Games. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Mutianyu Great Wall


Day 4 Beijing  Xian
After breakfast, be transferred to the Beijing West Railway Station for the 5.5 hours’ high-speed train to Xian. Your Xian tour guide will wait for you at Xi’an North Railway Station and help you to transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day to explore Xian on your own. You could visit to Muslim Street or other pedestrain street.Meals: Breakfast

Optional Night Activities: Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner 3.5 hours (daily 18:00 – 20:30 for dinner, 20:30 – 21:35 for Tang Dynasty Show)


Beijing Hutong Tour


Day 5 Xian Guilin
In the morning, we will have a short visit in the downtown of Xian. After breakfast, drive  for a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (1 hour) – the site of the old Han and Tang capital Chang’an. After that, continue to visit the Xian City Wall (1 hour) – represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Then left ample time will be provided for visits to Terracotta Warriors (2.5 – 3 hours) – one of the world’s most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. After lunch near the Terracotta Warriors area. After that, transfer to airport for an night flight to Guilin.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 6 Guilin  Yangshuo

In the morning you will be driven to the Zhujiang Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours, lunch served on board). Savour the fairy-tale scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. After disembarkation and check-in hotel with help of your tour guide, you can have a walk along the famous West Street and enjoy the free leisure time there. Overnight in Yangshuo tonight.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Li River Cruise


Day 7 Yangshuo  Guilin Chongqing

Finish the breakfast, drive back to Guilin for about 2 hours. Continue to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill (1 hour) – the symbol of Guilin. After that, have a trip to Reed Flute Cave (1 hour) – the showcase of distinctly-colored stalactites and stalagmites. After that, transfer to airport to catch a flight to Chongqing.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 8 Guilin  Chongqing, Embark
After your breakfast, you will have more than half day to explore Chongqing, a flourishing mountain city. At first, we will go to visit Chongqing Zoo, where you will have chance to see the adorable giant pandas. Then have a visit to Eling Park (1 hour) – displays the layout of Suzhou gardens. And then, continue to have a viewing of the Chongqing People Grand Hall (1 hour) – looks like the enlarged version of the sacramental Temple of Heaven in Beijing. After that, have a leisure walk on the Ancient Town of Ciqikou to get touch with the local lifestyle. When it is the time to have Yangtze River Cruise embark, you will be transferred to the wharf and get on board.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise
Enjoy your Yangtze cruise! In ther morning, you will have a short visit to Fengdu (2.5 – 3 hours, at your own expense) – known as the ‘Ghost City’ to most Chinese people. Around 16:00, there is an excursion to Shibaozhai (around 1 – 2 hours) – a wooden architecture stands on the riverside.

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise
Today, an optional excursion around 07:30 will be the White Emperor City (2 hours, at your own expense) – a place offers a view looking toward the Qutang Gorge is depicted on the back of the Chinese 10-yuan bill. Back to the ship and then pass through Three Gorges that namely Qutang Gorge (near 10:00) – considered the most dramatic by many visitors, Wu Gorge (near 11:30) – known for its deep valleys and forest covered mountains, and then after lunch, you will have a excursion to Goddess Stream (4.5 – 5 hours).Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

► Excursion trip to White Emperor City, you would take the coach directly to Baidi Temple in 20 minutes’ drive. You will have two hours for your White Emperor City visit to appreciate the rich historic story and mysterious land.

Day 11 Disembark, Yichang  Shanghai
Today around 07:30, you will firstly visit the Three Gorge Dam (2.5 – 3 hours) – planned to be by far the largest hydroelectric project in the world. After the visiting and lunch time, disembark at Yichang around 12:30. Your tour guide will wait for you at the wharf. In Yichang, you will firstly visit Three Visitors Cave in Yichang. After that, be transferred to the airport for your 2 hours’ flight to Shanghai. Your Shanghai tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 12 Shanghai
A full day sightseeing starts with Jade Buddha Temple (1 hour) – famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, which is said to weigh 1,000 kg. And then, go to Yuyuan Garden (1 hour) – a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Then visit the nearby Chenghuangmiao Old Street (1 hour). After lunch time, you will have an exterior tour of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (30 min) – the most charming landmark of Shanghai. And then, go for shopping in Nanjing Road (1 hours generally) – the earliest commercial street in Shanghai, and have a leisure walk along the Bund (30 min) – famous as a group of building known as “a Gallery of world architecture”. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
